Web Standards

Adherence to web standards helps ensure better interoperability and compatibility between web applications and services. Furthermore, web standards increase efficiency by reducing conversion and update time, particularly when moving data between various systems. The Webmaster's Office always encourages and supports web standards in the web sites and applications at Appalachian State University.
